In mijn therapie, probeer ik een steunende en collaboratieve omgeving te creëren. Ik heb me in traumazorg gespecialiseerd, o.a. door opleidingen in EMDR en complex trauma. Als familietherapeut, geloof ik dat een persoon altijd verbonden is met hun omgeving en dit neem ik mee op in de therapie.

Therapie kan een veilige plaats zijn waar mensen moeilijke gebeurtenissen en trauma's kunnen verwerken, waar men persoonlijke relaties kan exploreren, en waar nieuwe perspectieven kunnen groeien. Ik werk met (jong)volwassenen, zowel online als in het Praktijkhuis De Wijngaard in Diest.

In my therapy, I focus on creating a non-judgmental, supportive and collaborative relationship with the client. I have specialized in trauma care, including but not exclusively through EMDR. As a family therapist, I believe a person is always connected to his or her environment. Therapy can be a safe place to explore a person’s relationships, the impact of difficult events and traumas, and the strengths within a person and his/her environment to deal with these challenges. I have experience with individuals and families from different cultural backgrounds. I work with adults, both online and in Praktijkhuis De Wijngaard in Diest.
